Over the weekend, Indians were terrified at the movies. When Bollywood actor Salman Khan appeared on the screen, some fans let off fireworks inside a cinema. A video posted on social media shows a large crowd of people terrified as pyrotechnics begin to erupt in the Malegaon, Maharashtra, theatre.

Fans appear to have been waiting for Salman Khan to arrive in the film before lighting off the pyrotechnics. When the dark room suddenly lighted up with explosions and sparks, everyone ran for the escape. The unexpected light show even paused the film, as yells and cheering can be heard in the background.

Salman Khan’s Reply

This was also happening in other films, which irritated Salman Khan. He posted on social media, “I’m hearing about fireworks inside theatres during Tiger3. This is dangerous. Let’s enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe.”

People were anticipating the release of Tiger 3, the third installment in the YRF series, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The Maharashtra police are investigating and may punish anyone involved under certain provisions of the Indian Penal Code because it is dangerous and could cause harm to others.
